I tried to download the Zoom video app to my laptop which has Windows 10 and Office but the download is blocked by s-mode. Is there a one there?
Is there any plan to add it as a lot of friends relatives and businesses are using it to keep in touch during the current lockdown. I have it on my phone but would like to get it onto the laptop.

Zoom app isn't available in Microsoft Store. You must switch out of S mode unfortunately to get Zoom app. What I can suggest you is to block apps outside the Store after switching out from S mode.

When you click a link to join a meeting, you are prompted to head over to the Chrome Web Store to install the Zoom App. Not only that, but it is also up to the host of the meeting to allow users to join directly via the browser. Next, scroll all the way to the bottom of this section. When you click on the URL link to receive an invitation to the meeting via an URL link, the app will be automatically installed.
In order to use the app, you do not have to install it before using it.
